Joel has a reputation of high ethical standards earned over a decade long career by treating clients like an extension of his family. He has a passion for finance that began at a young age. Joel strengthened this passion by earning his CIM and CFP designations, and uses those skills to provide risk prudent advice to help clients achieve their goals. 

 

Joel and his team work closely with clients to understand their financial objectives and develop a unique plan to provide long-term stability and peace of mind. His comprehensive approach considers investment strategies, estate planning, decumulation strategies, tax efficiency and retirement planning. Joel values financial literacy, supporting clients and empowering families in their financial comprehension.

 

Prior to joining CIBC Wood Gundy, Joel was a Senior Private Banking Advisor with CIBC Private Wealth Management. In this role, Joel provided clients with convenience, flexibility and peace of mind through tailored financial services, including cash and credit management, investments and planning solutions.

 

When not in the office, Joel enjoys being active outdoors. He loves to hike, camp and work on home improvement projects. Most of all, he enjoys doing it all in the company of his wife and baby boy. Family values and financial security are the foundation to how Joel lives life, and he looks forward to applying those values in service of your family
