Bruce believes that the key to working successfully with clients is talking to them, not just about their needs, but also their life objectives and how insurance can assist them in the achievement of their goals. Prior to joining CIBC Wood Gundy, Bruce was with a leading insurance company where he was the Director of Sales for National Accounts. In addition to his sales and management roles, he also brings experience from the actuarial side of the desk. This perspective allows him to have a deeper understanding in dealing with insurance needs. Bruce brings with him a strong analytical and mathematical background, having earned his MSc. in Mathematics from Dalhousie University.

In addition to his sales and client relationship experience, Thomas also worked with one of the largest insurance companies on the product service and development side allowing him to build in-depth knowledge of current and past insurance products.

Lindsay Logie is a Senior Trust & Estate Consultant with CIBC Trust Corporation. Lindsay provides will, trust and estate planning solutions to high net-worth individuals from across Nova Scotia. Born and raised in Halifax, Lindsay graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of King’s College, before going on to obtain her law degree from Dalhousie University. Lindsay practiced law in Halifax for several years before joining CIBC Private Wealth Management, and is a member of the Halifax Estate Planning Council and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

He has past and recurring involvement with the Georges Dumont Hospital Foundation and the JDRF.

Trevor has over 20 years of mid-market mergers & acquisition ("M&A") experience. His expertise is in the sale of privately-owned companies. Trevor has worked on behalf of many business owners to find strategic buyers or equity investors and negotiated the sale of all or a portion of the company.
These transactions have covered a wide range of sectors and industries including Manufacturing (equipment, consumer goods, concrete, food processing), Business Services (healthcare, equipment rental, telecom, testing/inspection, certification, transportation and logistics), Distribution (capital equipment, steel and fuel) and Technology (software).
Prior to joining CIBC in 2002, Trevor worked for 12 years with the corporate finance and audit groups of an international accounting and consulting firm in Canada and the U.K. and is a Chartered Accountant.

Ian de Verteuil has close to 30 years of experience on the buy- and sell-side of the investment business. He started with a Canadian equities and debt securities dealer in 1987, and over his career as an equity analyst covered a variety of sectors.
Based on external surveys, Ian ranked as Canada's best analyst in Banking, Insurance, Consumer Products, Breweries and Distilleries at various times over a 20-year period.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from McGill University and an MBA from Western University.

His prior background includes experience in management consulting. He was on the economics faculty at the University of Toronto and in the summer program at Harvard's John F.
