Discretionary Investment Management
Few advisors are able to offer discretionary services to their clients. The combined qualifying criteria including accreditation, experience and discipline are very stringent. Many investors are familiar with discretionary investment management, which is essentially what a mutual fund can offer. The key differences in our services is our ability to offer you direct access to the person managing your investment portfolio, lower costs and the opportunity to learn about the strategic changes and rationale behind the investment decisions that are taking place.
Managing Conflict of Interest
We believe that aligning our compensation with the financial success of our clients is key - this is the result of our fee-based investment management style. With fee-based investing you are charged a percentage of your assets under management. This eliminates transaction bias, increases decision-making efficiency and allows us to focus on what is important to you.
Defined Investment Philosophy
Our process combines a blend of both fundamental and technical disciplines. Sometimes, investors don't have a rationale for why they buy a stock and even more fail to have an exit plan in place before taking a new position. Exits and/or a sell plan are far more important than the buy decision since it's the exit that determines whether you make money or lose money! Our process is quite comprehensive, and can be better understood by reading "Our Investment Philosophy".
