We're one of the largest and most experienced teams in CIBC, with combined experience of roughly a hundred twenty five hundred fifty years. We're mostly a conservative income based process of investing.
And so most of our clients have very realistic expectations of returns. And because of that, we're not stressed out and looking at the markets every second of the day. We have more time to speak with our clients to individualize a process with them on investing.
The key to achieving peace of mind for our clients is a financial plan. We work with our CIBC partners to create a win win scenario for our clients. For example, we'll use our vast contacts that we have. We use CIBC Trust to give our clients peace of mind and the expertise in sometimes very complex situations.
The evolution of our group is well over 50 years old. We had partners that took on other partners and I joined them and then Dan joined us and Ron recently joined us.
I joined the Kamitakahara Investment Group here at Wood Gundy in December 2017. And there are a lot of reasons there that I wanted to join their very successful team. And for me, I think just stepping up the customer service was a big interest, something I've thought about for a long time. And it just provides with the large group just many more resources at my fingertips.
One of the issues right now in our industry is the majority of investment advisors haven't seen a bear market and we've lived through a couple of them. And having that experience I think is is great for dealing with the future as well as the past.
