Jamie Gale, CIM®
Jamie has provided wealth management advice to clients since 2004. As a Senior Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager, and holder of the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation, he has spent over two decades working with ultra-high net worth families, organizations, and family offices through all kinds of market conditions. Jamie takes real pride in being a calm, steady presence for his clients, drawing on pension-style investment management and a deep bench of wealth management resources to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
When he is not working, Jamie can be found on the golf course, traveling, or beach combing local waters with his wife Kathie and their two children, Finlay and Huxley.
Ronald Langevin
Ron has provided wealth management advice to clients since 2001. As a Wealth Advisor and holder of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Certified Investment Manager (CIM®) designations, he works with families and business owners to identify, prepare, and execute on the future they envision. Ron is dedicated to delivering an all-encompassing approach to wealth planning, and works closely with clients to prepare for both the opportunities and the unexpected events that life brings.
Outside of work, you can find Ron in the pool, on the lake, or on the volleyball or pickleball court, as well as hiking, biking, and snowshoeing the trails of the Okanagan with his partner Shannon and their family.
Jane Trites, B.Comm., CIM, FCSI
Jane brings over 15 years of experience in wealth management, having supported clients in growing and protecting their financial well-being since 2008. As a Financial Associate and holder of the Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute, Canadian Investment Manager (CIM®), and Life Insurance designations, she works closely with the investment advisors to ensure client needs are met to the highest standard. Jane is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and holds both a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Jane is equipped to execute all transactions on behalf of clients. Jane is dedicated to delivering seamless, comprehensive service, and works closely with clients to ensure every aspect of their financial needs is handled with precision and care.
When she is not in the office, Jane can be found enjoying the outdoors, reading or planning her next trip.
Sheila Hemsworth
Sheila has over 30 years of experience at CIBC, working in various roles throughout the organization. Sheila plays an integral role on the team and is the lead on all administrative tasks and client service requests. Sheila has been lucky to call the Saanich peninsula home for the majority of her life. She and her husband Barry have two adult children, Chantal and Malcolm.
Liana Pedersen
Liana is a recent Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University of Victoria who has launched her career in the wealth management industry as an Administrative Assistant. She brings valuable hands-on experience from co-op terms previously held at two other financial institutions, where she supported a broad range of functions including advisor sales, private investments, institutional operations, ETF product development, and junior investment analysis. Passionate about growing her expertise, Liana is currently working toward completing her Canadian Securities Institute courses to become fully registered in the industry, and is committed to delivering a high standard of client service in everything she does.
When not in the office, you can find Liana traveling, spending time with friends and family, and staying active through soccer, running, and the gym.

Kelsey collaborates with external professional advisors, including accountants, lawyers and the CIBC advisory team to implement recommended strategies.
Kelsey joined the financial services industry in 2006 and holds the Certified Financial Planner designation.

James joined the financial services industry in 2003 and has held various positions in wealth management and retail banking. In 2010, he acquired his Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP) for the reason that he is passionate about promoting financial literacy and ensuring that clients are on track through various stages of life. Originally from Toronto, he moved to Victoria 10 years ago and has made this his home.
James is quite active in the community and in his personal life. He was the Head Coach of the Victoria Special Olympics Curling team and lead them to the Canadian National Games in 2020. He enjoys spending time with his wife (Michelle) and their toddler (Annabelle) and has an active lifestyle in various types of sports.

His prior background includes experience in management consulting. He was on the economics faculty at the University of Toronto and in the summer program at Harvard's John F.
