Ian has been a Wealth Advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy for twenty six years.

The Weir family has been managing and planning multigenerational wealth for over one hundred and thirty years in Canada.

By developing an understanding of the individual's personal and financial goals Ian develops a plan to work towards the client's objectives. The plan integrates the disciplines of financial, investment, retirement and estate planning. The plan is flexible to meet the changes in the client's life as they arise and is governed by the priorities of quality and safety within the individual's tolerance for risk.

Ian believes that hard work, a disciplined and methodical approach, plus patience and a long term focus are essential to the success of every plan. Without a plan there is little accountability to the client.
