Khaled Sultan is a Senior Wealth Advisor and Portfolio Manager, specializing in Ethical, Socially Responsible, and Islamic Finance. He has more than 20 years of industry experience and currently works at one of Canada's largest banks. There he heads Canada's first advisory practice focused on providing Shariah compliant investment solutions in Canada and abroad.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Sultan worked with one of Canada's top investment banks covering the precious metals sector with a focus on gold equities. Previous to that, he was in charge of the launch and overall management of a firm dedicated to providing research and due diligence solutions to investors in the global energy and materials sectors. He has also held key leadership positions at both ExxonMobil and Imperial Oil. Mr. Sultan started his career in the manufacturing sector working at Celestica.
Mr. Sultan is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in ethical finance (U.K.) and his qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering Science and a Bachelor of Computer Science, both from the University of Western. He obtained an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto as well as a Masters of Science in Business and Management Research from the Henley Business School at the University of Reading (U.K). He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designations.
Mr. Sultan served on the boards of a number of non-profit and charitable organizations including the London Community Foundation, Merrymount Children's Centre, and the World Parkinson's Program. He was involved with a number of local and national non-profit organizations and initiatives including Princess Margret's Walk to End Breast Cancer, Make A Wish Canada, and Meals on Wheels, as well as Junior Achievement of Canada and Junior Chamber International. Mr. Sultan also chaired the Investment Committee for the London Community Foundation.
Mr. Sultan is certified as a life coach, a lifeguard and a swim instructor. He is married and has four children.

Anna has a wealth of knowledge and experience, having joined CIBC Wood Gundy in 1994. As a Client Associate, Anna assists Khaled with trading and portfolio reviews. She is also responsible for client administration, and brings an invaluable level of expertise to her functions.
Her attention to detail, knowledge of industry regulations, and efficient nature ensure that our clients receive accurate and timely assistance. Furthermore, she assists clients with various needs, inquiries and requests. Anna is well liked by our clients who appreciate her outgoing personality and enjoy working with her.
Anna lives in London with her daughter, Krysti, and their cats, Scooby and Midnight.
Hadya AbouShamalah
Administrative Assistant
Hadya is a graduate of Business Marketing & Administration and has developed a passion for the financial industry.
She started her career in information technology and transitioned to servicing clients in an Administrative Assistance role. Hadya joined the team in 2022 and brings an impressive set of skills that includes knowledge of the industry as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service. Her experience and knowledge allows her to coordinate all of the key operations of our administrative team to ensure great service for all clients.
She loves to live by the Golden Rule: “Treat People the Way You Wanted to be Treated”, and believes that being kind does not take a lot, but it does bring back a lot more in return. When she is not working, Hadya loves spending time with her husband and her cat Moon.
Brian Lawson, CFP, CIM, RRC
Financial Planning Specialist
Brian graduated from Brock University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Physics and a minor in business. He started his career with an independent financial planning firm and joined CIBC in 2009. Brian earned is Registered Retirement Consultant designation in 2014, Certified Financial Planner designation in 2015 and Chartered Investment Manager in 2020.
With over a decade of financial planning experience, Brian is passionate about financial planning and works with clients to deliver financial plans and advanced planning strategies to help them achieve their goals. His role on the team is to provide advice, support, and direction on financial issues such as retirement planning, tax planning, cash management, estate planning, business succession and transition planning.
In his spare time Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Alicia, their two children.
Jordan Crampton, CFP, CLU, TEP
Estate Planning Specialist
Jordan graduated with honours from Iowa Wesleyan University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and Sport Management. He was a 4-year member of the men's golf team and was named to the all-academic and all-conference teams. After spending a year working in the professional golf industry with the LPGA and PGA Tours he joined CIBC as a Personal Banking Representative. Jordan earned his Certified Financial Planner designation in 2014, his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 2016 and his Trust and Estate Practitioner designation in 2020.
Jordan is the Estate Planner on our team. He focuses on helping clients identifying risks they may not have realized they were exposed to. He builds estate plans tailored to our clients' specific personal and business needs in order to help them achieve financial security.
Jordan is also an avid golfer, he enjoys competing in amateur tournaments and is a member of the London Hunt and Country Club. Jordan and his wife Kelly live in the Old North neighbourhood of London and enjoy spending time exploring the city with their boxer Otis.
