We're after companies that will continue to grow their earnings, continue to increase their dividends.
We're constructing [00:01:00] a portfolio that'll weather through good markets and bad markets. So being proactive rather than being reactive. Where as Gretzky always said, you want to go to where the puck's going, not to where the puck's been. Clients feel comfortable in the sense that they've got the backing of a very solid financial institution, but they also have the personalized service and the depth and the relationships of a small team.
It's an in-depth process we go through trying to get a better understanding of what the client's objectives [00:01:30] are. Working with our team, we have a financial planner that constructs a long term plan. We have an estate planner to ensure that there's the inter-generational transfer of wealth. Clients worked hard to build up their wealth. So we want to ensure it moves from one generation to the other as tax efficiently as possible that clients and the next generation are continuing to be able to enjoy the fruits of the parent's long term efforts.
Clients are looking to have a relationship that [00:02:00] they can feel comfortable with. An advisor that they know that they can count on and that's important us.
