Giving Back to our Community

Since joining CIBC Wood Gundy in 2008, our team at the Maltby Casey Investment Group has worked hard to give back to the communities where we live and work.

It is in our DNA to give back, and we believe that this is part of what makes us successful. Over the years, we have donated to many causes which benefit children in particular. This includes sponsored minor hockey, raising money to build a new little league field, sponsoring the Boys & Girls Club, supporting food programs for kids, donating to youth mental health, and the list goes on.

We believe that we are privileged to do the work that we do for our clients, and the best way to say thank you is to give back.

Youth Mental Health

Youth Mental Health

Our branch of CIBC Wood Gundy has been a long term supporter of the Cumberland Healthcare Foundation. For several years, we met a local need for support in youth mental health with an annual donation of funds raised on CIBC Miracle Day. These contributions continue to make a positive impact on kids in our community. In this photo, Mark and his daughter Elara are presenting a donation of $10,000 to the Chair of the Cumberland Healthcare Foundation.

After the School Bell

Our local team at CIBC Wood Gundy has been a major supporter of After the School Bell, a volunteer-run organization that ensures that kids in our community don't go hungry. These volunteers make sure these children have food to eat on weekends and holidays, when they can't access the food programs at their school. Every dollar donated is used to buy groceries for these kids in our community, and the program is near and dear to our heart. In this photo, Mark is presenting the organization's president, Doris Walton, with a cheque for $5,000 raised on CIBC Miracle Day.

Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure

CIBC employees play a significant role in making the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure one of the country’s most successful and respected volunteer-led fundraising events. Our employee volunteers rally colleagues, clients, family and friends to run, walk, fundraise and volunteer to support a cause that’s close to our hearts.
