Trevor brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, having spent his entire career with CIBC since joining the organization in 1995. A graduate of Saint Mary's University, Trevor earned a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Finance and Marketing and a minor in Economics.
Trevor has built his practice on the principle of strong relationships which are the foundation of sound financial advice. Trevor lives on Nova Scotia's South Shore with his wife and their golden retriever. They are proud parents of two adult daughters. Outside the office, Trevor enjoys spending time with friends and family, cycling, travelling, and making the most of the outdoors. These interests reflect the balance and perspective he brings to both his personal life and his work with clients.
Brent White, CFA
Investment Advisor
Brent White is an Investment Advisor at CIBC Wood Gundy, focusing on investment management and delivering a high level of client service to high-net-worth clients. Brent is a CFA® Charterholder and brings a disciplined, analytical approach to investing. Prior to his current role, Brent gained experience with the review of client portfolios at his previous firm by assisting Portfolio Managers with high-net-worth clients.
Originally from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia (home of Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon), Brent earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University (majoring in Accounting & Finance) and began his career in Halifax. Brent was the youngest of three boys and grew up in a household where his mother was a registered nurse and father was an engineer. This environment influenced Brent to have a combination of analytical thinking and compassion for others, which allows him to excel at building strong client relationships and delivering clear, practical advice.
Outside of work, Brent enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing hockey regularly, and golfing whenever the weather permits.
