Brad Ens, B.Comm.
Senior Wealth Advisor
Brad’s career has spanned over 30 years in the financial services industry. He is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with an honors degree in Finance and Economics and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation as part of his quest to fully serve investors.
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Brad is an active community member dedicated to helping others learn and grow. He is married to a teacher, and they have two adult daughters. The oldest is a photographer living in New York with her artist husband, and the youngest is a Music Therapist with a passion for helping others.
Like every kid growing up in the cold prairies, Brad was in a hockey rink for most of his youth, but when he figured out he wasn’t going to the NHL (and his Dad wanted to start sleeping in again on Saturdays), he learned to love playing ball, tennis, and golf, which he still enjoys now.
Brad also remembers his brother and himself being some of the first kids to get an Atari video game console and later a Commodore 64 computer. This has led to a lifelong fascination with computers and technology which along with raising two independent-minded daughters has taught him important life lessons about being detail-oriented, embracing innovation and change, and being patient.
James Flath
Investment Advisor
Jim is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and has been with CIBC Wood Gundy since 2010. He brings 30-plus years of business experience to the financial services industry. Jim leverages this experience to provide a great understanding of complex financial and investment needs and offers clear and sustainable solutions based on each client’s goals.
Jim grew up on the family farm outside of Saskatoon and is married to a physician. Together they have raised two driven and compassionate adult daughters. The youngest is currently practicing as a small animal veterinarian in Calgary and the oldest is completing her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Saskatchewan. At the kitchen table, Dad often gets reminded that he is soon to be the only “non-doctor in the house”.
Family remains extremely important to Jim, and he feels strongly about giving back to the community. He recently completed a 10-year term as a Board Member for Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon. In his spare time, he can be found walking the family dogs, on a golf course, in a hockey rink, spending time at the cottage, or planning the next family vacation.
