Outside of the office, Barry likes to give back to the community by participating in events like Hockey Helps The Homeless which raises funds to help end homelessness in the community.

Amrutha Krishna

Amrutha began her career in Derivatives & Equity Capital Markets at a large asset management firm and brings over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining CIBC Wood Gundy in 2025 as Director of Branch Operations, she held a series of progressive leadership roles at another wealth management firm. In her current role as Associate Branch Manager, Amrutha works closely with Barry to champion operational excellence, resolve complex challenges, and ensure advisors are empowered to run their practices seamlessly. She is deeply passionate about fostering inclusion and diversity within the workforce, believing that a collaborative and equitable environment drives innovation and success.
On a personal note, Amrutha lives with her husband Ajey, in Durham region. Outside of the office, she enjoys playing badminton, traveling, cycling during summer months, hiking, painting, and reading (in no particular order!).
