Grant has provided business owners and successful professionals with advice in managing their wealth for twenty five years.
Grant’s formal education includes a BA specializing in Economics (Western), an MBA majoring in Finance (McMaster), and a Masters degree in Science and Technology Commercialization (University of Texas at Austin).
Grant’s professional education includes the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and, unique among Canadian Investment Advisors, the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation completed at the Wharton Business School in Philadelphia.
In 2001 Grant authored his first book, The Financial Advisor at the Epoch, Success Strategies from the Inside. This was an industry book aimed at helping other advisors learn from Grant's experience in building a world-class investment practice.
During his career at CIBC Wood Gundy Grant was also the Barrie Branch Manager overseeing the practices of fifteen other Investment Advisors.
Grant has had the opportunity to have his global perspective widened through extensive travel. He has traveled across Canada, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, China, Thailand, the Philippines, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Grant is an avid golfer having played some of the world’s great courses including St. Andrews, Bay Hill, Copperhead, TPC Louisiana, TPC Scottsdale, PGA West and Torrey Pines.

Helen Craig has over 20 years of professional experience in the financial services industry. Helen, also holds her CSC, CPH and PFP designations from the CSI and is RR licensed with IIROC.
Helen assists Grant in monitoring portfolios, communicating recommendations, scheduling meetings and responding to client requests regarding portfolios, performance, and planning. She is responsible for the vast administrative details of our clients and their accounts. She is essential in maintaining careful and accurate records of all client requests, account transfers and trade details. She is dedicated to providing superior customer service.

Tax and estate planning is key to wealthy clients, in particular post-mortem tax planning. Doug’s understanding of clients’ needs, along with his keen interest in helping others, helps shape personalized plans for clients. On weekends he enjoys spending time with his family, golf, hockey and boating.
