GFOA Alberta is a professional organization whose purpose is to enhance the practice of governmental finance in the Province of Alberta. Their objectives include: Promote networking opportunities for all government finance officials within all levels of government, Support and promotion of Provincial, Canadian and International GFOA Conferences and training program, Communication with membership on financial issue, and Liaison with Municipal Affair. GFOA Alberta is affiliated with the International Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and maintains contact with its staff to promote training opportunities and participation in annual international GFOA conferences.

The Municipal Finance Officers' Association of Ontario (MFOA), established in 1989, is the professional association of municipal finance officers with more than 2,300 individual members. We represent individuals who are responsible for handling the financial affairs of municipalities and who are key advisors to councils on matters of finance policy. MFOA promotes the interests of our members in carrying out their statutory and other financial responsibilities through advocacy, information sharing, networking opportunities, and through the promotion of fiscal sustainability. We also provide members with training and education to enable continuous professional development and to support excellence in municipal finance.

The Canadian Association of Government Finance Officers (CAGFO), formerly the Government Finance Officers Association of Western Canada (WCGFOA), is one of the oldest organizations representing government finance officers in Canada. It has been operating since the 1970's. They are a professional association representing Government Finance Officers and their members represent over 1,000 local governments, mainly in Western Canada. CAGFO's mission is to promote excellence in government finance and our strategic plan to focus on regional and national issues while broadening their appeal across the country.

The Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO) represents excellence in local government, management and leadership. Over the past 80 years, AMCTO has provided education, accreditation, leadership, and management expertise for Ontario municipal professionals. With 2,000+ members working in municipalities across the province, AMCTO is Ontario’s largest association of local government professionals, and the leading professional development organization for municipal professionals.

The Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators is a national, non-profit association open to all Chief Administrative Officers/City Managers and any person employed in a senior management position that reports directly to the CAO. CAMA has a membership of approximately 600 City Managers, Chief Administrative Officers and Senior Appointed Officials from all parts of Canada.

Founded in 2010, CAIR advances three primary goals: Strengthening Canada’s insurance reciprocals by sharing their combined wisdom, experience and innovation, Promoting well-informed and effective government regulation and, Educating people about the advantages of reciprocal insurance. CAIR’s Members include reciprocals that are dedicated to serving the unique needs of municipal governments, healthcare facilities, universities, school boards, airports, the legal profession, energy companies and the construction trades. Canadian insurance reciprocals operate on a non-profit basis and are regulated under provincial law.

PFC is a member association of Canadian grant makers, including private and public foundations, charities, and corporations. Created in 1999, PFC became a registered charity in 2002. PFC seeks to support its members and organized philanthropy by encouraging public policies that sustain the sector, by increasing awareness of philanthropy's contribution to the well-being of Canadians, and by providing opportunities for funders to learn from each other
