Previously he attained his CPA designation and worked in corporate banking, public accounting and technology industries. James is a graduate of York University with a degree in Economics. James is licensed as a Portfolio Manager and Investment Advisor. He is also licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Ontario to sell insurance products.
James holds numerous industry designations including CIM® (Chartered Investment Manager) and FCSI® (Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute). The FCSI designation is reserved solely for financial services professionals that meet the highest standards for advanced education, ethical conduct, industry experience and endorsement from peers.
James is married with two boys and lives in central Toronto. In his spare time he enjoys reading, golfing and travel both domestic and foreign. James is a long term member of The Rotary Club of Toronto – Leaside Chapter and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
