Luc Grenier is a Portfolio Manager with CIBC Wood Gundy, the customized investment management division of CIBC Private Wealth Management, where he provides wealth management advice to a private clientele consisting of families, professionals, business leaders and foundations within the Financial Group Luc Grenier.

Within the group, Mr. Grenier acts as a specialist in Canadian and global equity portfolio management, but he also uses his past experience as an institutional portfolio manager on all aspects of client portfolio management (bonds, preferred securities, convertible debentures, options and futures, structured products) to create customized portfolios for clients.

Mr. Grenier has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector. He held various positions within a major financial institution, particularly in treasury, then as an analyst and lastly, as an institutional portfolio manager, where he managed an investment fund and a pension fund worth over one billion dollars of assets under management. Mr. Grenier holds a Bachelor of Finance degree from HEC and the prestigious title of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), a title that is recognized worldwide by finance professionals.

As part of the team, Mr. Boucher draws on his expertise acquired in the investment industry to ensure the smooth running of all clients' financial affairs, managing their investments and meeting all their wealth optimization needs. He works with Mr. Grenier to develop investment strategies for our clients, as well as overseeing risk management. 

Mr. Boucher is a former professional hockey player where he previously played for the Laval Rocket and several European teams. He completed his bachelor's degree in financial analysis with a minor in economics at Clarkson University in New York, and also earned a master's degree in finance at Ulster University in the UK while playing his final professional season.

Having worked in the financial industry since 1980, Mr. Payeur brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Financial Group Luc Grenier. As an Associate Investment Advisor for our team, Mr. Payeur works with Mr. Grenier to analyze the different portfolio models utilized by our team and acts as a liaison with our third-party partners, ensuring we continue to receive timely and relevant market information.

Mr. Payeur’s extensive background in the financial industry has allowed him to navigate even the most complex situations with ease, making him an invaluable asset to our team. He is proud to have built trusted relationships with many of our clients over the years and is committed to ensuring their continued satisfaction. He prides himself on his integrity and transparency, going above and beyond to ensure our clients remain confident in the advice they are receiving. Outside of work, Mr. Payeur enjoys spending time with his kids and travelling.

Mrs. Gauvreau joined our team in October 2014 and has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. Mrs. Gauvreau leads our operations and administration departments with knowledge and care. As the first point of contact for our clients, she is responsible for overseeing all incoming inquiries, utilizing exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills to connect our clients to the support and resources they require.

Her responsibilities also include to execute transactions and working with clients along with the Investment Advisor to meet their investment objectives. Mrs. Gauvreau is driven by a true sense of professionalism and a constant desire to exceed expectations. She prides herself on her integrity and transparency, going above and beyond to ensure our clients remain confident in the advice they are receiving.

An experienced financial services professional, Mr. Boutin brings over 30 years of industry experience to Financial Group Luc Grenier. As an associate, he works primarily on the operational side, and is responsible for administrative tasks, such as executing trading order, transfers and withdrawals. A former weightlifting world champion, Mr. Boutin's competitive and disciplined nature has always pushed him to take a meticulous approach to his work, ensuring that every trade and decision he makes is precise and thought through rapidly.
