Lynn Pearson
My career in the Wealth Management Business has spanned over 40 years in roles from Client Associate to Branch Manager. I bring a wealth of knowledge to the client experience and base all relationships on a “client first imperative”. My fiduciary responsibility guides all facets of my business and is why I have such a strong trust relationship with my clients.
I specialize in retirement planning, estate planning and portfolio construction & monitoring. I leverage the expertise of our Investment Consulting Service (ICS) into the portfolio construction process.
I am a huge supporter of the CIBC Run For The Cure and sit on the Lethbridge run planning committee. My support is hands-on contributing hours of my time as well as support through funding.
Karen Ohno, CFP
After 39 years in the Wealth Management Business, my knowledge and experience are my greatest assets. One of the base foundations of our team’s success has been the implementation of CIBC’s Investment Consulting Service (ICS) into the client experience. Another critical foundation of our success is the trust we earn in our client relationships.
I hold the Chartered Financial Planner designation CFP, specialize in client relationship management, financial planning and insurance solutions. Including but not limited to: Life Insurance, Term Life, Critical Illness Insurance, Office Overhead Insurance, Buy/Sell agreement Insurance.
I had a personal experience with Cancer and have dedicated myself to help others through the CIBC Run For the Cure. I am proud to be Co-Run Director with my daughter for the Lethbridge Run. I have the good fortune of great relationships in the community and have called upon those as well as family, friends & co-workers to continually improve the Lethbridge Run experience and increase fundraising. I work hand-in-hand with my colleges at our local CIBC bank branch, some of which sit on the committee with me.

After 32 years experience as a Client Associate, I excel at client relationship management. I look after all the behind the scene care of our clients. I work as a liaison between our clients and their accountants to make sure everything goes smoothly. Paperwork needs to be done, tasks need to be completed and rules need to be followed and I am the person to keep our team on task!

I am a recent graduate from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of management, majoring in finance. During my time at University I participated in a variety of programs including the U of L Student Managed Investment Fund which helped fuel my desire to be in this industry. I bring to the team the knowledge I’ve gained from university, a 1 year coop at a local credit union and a summer internship at a major bank in Budapest. During this time I found one of the most rewarding experiences was volunteering as Run Director for the CIBC Run for the Cure. I am new to the team here at CIBC Wood Gundy and I have much to learn from the other ladies on our very experienced and talented team.
