Community is very important to me and I am proud to help in various ways. Whether volunteering for my son's hockey team, raising funds for charities that are near and dear such as Max's Big Ride, Bright Run and Ancaster Community Services, or participating in our own CIBC Children's Miracle Day and CIBC Run for the cure, community is always top of mind. I am proud to live and work in such a vibrant area and grateful to have the ability to give back in my own small way.
For team CIBC, giving back is personal. Each year thousands of employees give generously to the causes that matter most to them. We’re passionate about making a difference in our communities through corporate donations, volunteering and sponsorship. Together, we are #OneforChange.
Meet our team and see the change we’re making!
Today we had a wonderful opportunity to tour the Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton. This day included a tour of their beautiful facility, learning about their impressive operation and then meal prep for the night's dinner for the families. I even gathered a few tips from Chef Jim! A special thank you to Meaghan who guided our tour, and my CIBC and Wood Gundy colleagues who shared in the day.
It was wonderful to have the opportunity to learn more about the Ronald McDonald House Charity and the tremendous impact to the community. We experienced a tour of their beautiful facility and all of the services they provide for their guests. This truly is a home away from home during such a difficult time in these families lives. We then ended our day with meal prep for that night's dinner, where I also leaned a few pointers from Chef Jim! I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and was grateful to learn more about this wonderful facility. I am very proud of this National Partnership between CIBC and RMHC.
Thank You CIBC
"Thank you for participating in a Mission Experience and preparing dinner for our families here at RMHC South Central Ontario. We are truly grateful for this National Partnership and incredible supporters right here in our community!"
