Thank you so much for what a wonderful, warm welcome you have given us. We love your smiling faces. Everybody here is so exciting and we’re so pleased to be here. We are so proud of what you have accomplished as teachers, as students, and we hope that success continues with everybody who attends.

It’s my great privilege to be here, to be welcomed by all of you. To see your smiling faces really touches my heart. You’re also beautiful and so wonderful and so happy. And it makes me very happy to be here as well. It’s very wonderful that you have this building, this structure to learn under and these teachers to teach you in such a wonderful place. It’s my privilege to get to know you. Thank you so much.

Thank you. You children are a blessing to us. And you bring us inspiration and hope. And we wanted to say that we hope this time at school will be a blessing to you and that you will be filled with much success, joy, and peace in life. Thank you.

I just want to speak to the student that are listening to me now. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and some of lesson when I was in Primary School were under a tree. But I believe that education was going to be the path to success for me. And I worked really hard. And so my message to you is believe in yourselves. Listen to teachers, listen to your parents. Whatever you dream of, you can become. And I also want to encourage the teachers and the parents to believe in their children and to support them however they can, so that the children will be successful. And I want to say that if I can do it, anybody else can do it.

Schmidt, Founder, Expand Hope, Head of Schmidt Family Office, is playing.] I often am asked why Expand Hope, or why we do what we do and come many thousands of miles away to partner with FH and with communities such as yours. And my answer always is because we are better together. You make us better. And we as a partner, we get to partner with you and together we all get better. And we are so honored to be able to walk with you as you see into our lives. We have many people from Canada here today, and you are impacting us even more probably than you even realize.
