Robin graduated from Lakehead University in 1977 with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Finance. As a strong believer in continuous education, he has gone on to complete various other industry-related courses to help serve his clients with a diverse array of specialties.
Robin began his career with a leading Canadian bank in 1977 and soon moved on to CIBC Wood Gundy. His loyalty, to both his clients and company, is reflected in the fact he is among one of the longest serving advisors at one firm in the community.
Robin’s background, education and training enable him to offer a full range of services and products. This includes equities, mutual funds, insurance, fixed income investments − such as GICs and bonds − retirement services, individual financial planning and the building of wealth over the long term.
Robin believes in the importance of giving back to the community. Shannon Joblin, CIM

Shannon is the oldest of three siblings and growing up, moved all over the country as her father worked for the RCMP. She attended Kwantlen College in British Columbia, moved to Ottawa and then made her final move to Thunder Bay.
Shannon started her career at Wood Gundy in 2002. She earned her Canadian Securities designation in 2010, CIM designation in 2016 and Life Insurance License in 2018.
Shannon’s investment philosophy is centered around building strong relationships with every client. She does this by getting to know their goals and risk tolerance which will then allow her to identify an optimal asset allocation. Overall, Shannon is focused on providing a high level of service to help clients achieve their wealth goals.
Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter while they’re skiing, camping or experiencing the everyday things life has to offer. She is an avid curler in the winter and golfer in the summer. She is also a member of and sits on the committee for Women in Action for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre Foundation.
Shannon supports local charities like the Children’s Aid Foundation of Thunder Bay, Boys and Girls Club of Thunder Bay, CIBC Run for the Cure and Hike for Hospice.

Karen has been working alongside Robin since 1989. Karen has successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course and is currently registered as an Investment Representative. Karen has strong administrative and relationship building skills. She effectively manages day-to-day needs of clients.
