Gordon Webster brings 25 years of experience in the investment industry, beginning his career as a bond trader in London, UK at several major international banks. In 2004, he returned to Canada, where he spent a couple of years as a proprietary equity trader before transitioning to the advisory side in 2007. As a wealth advisor, Gordon leverages his extensive background to help clients achieve their financial objectives.

 

Gordon is a Certified Financial Planner and Portfolio Manager. He holds the Chartered Market Technician designation and is licensed in both options and insurance. His academic credentials include a BA (Hons) in Economics from Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) and an MSc in International Securities, Investment and Banking from Reading University (Reading, UK).

 

Originally from North Vancouver, Gordon maintains a passion for the outdoors and international adventure. Recent years have seen him hiking Kilimanjaro with his family, exploring art galleries in Europe, playing soccer, and, together with his wife, supporting their son’s water polo and sailing pursuits.

Tessa and Gordon formed the Webster Collins Group, united by a shared philosophy of creating custom-tailored solutions for clients. After moving to Canada in 2000, Tessa made a career change to financial services and is licensed in both options and insurance. With an entrepreneurial background from the U.K. and training from leading financial institutions in Canada, Tessa primarily works with business owners and incorporated professionals, focusing on transition and succession planning, risk management, and executive retirement solutions.

 

The Webster Collins Group offers an extensive suite of corporate solutions designed to support businesses through every stage of growth. For early-stage businesses, services include Group RRSPs and employee benefit packages, as well as key person insurance. Mid-stage planning features executive retirement solutions such as Individual Pension Plans (IPPs) and Retirement Compensation Arrangements (RCAs). For mature businesses, CIBC’s M&A team can assist in structuring tax-efficient transitions.

 

As part of our approach, we introduce our key partners at CIBC to help business owners evaluate their options, whether planning for a healthy retirement lifestyle or transitioning their business to the next generation. Brian Aber joined the Webster Collins Group in Spring 2025, bringing energy and a foundation in finance and client service. He is a recent graduate of Western University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business with a focus on Finance and Economics. Brian actively supports all aspects of client service, ensuring a high standard of care and responsiveness.

 

Brian’s interest in financial markets began at a young age, and he has been personally trading stocks since his early teens. This passion drives his commitment to staying informed and engaged with market trends, helping clients navigate their financial journeys with confidence.

 

Outside of work, Brian enjoys traveling and spent seven months abroad, studying in Australia and backpacking through South East Asia. He also enjoys playing golf and values time spent with friends and family, enjoying both adventure and fun in his personal life.

Outside of work, Leigh-Anne is the proud parent of two children and values time spent with her family, often enjoying outdoor activities together.
