Joe has extensive experience working with high and ultra high net worth families with extremely complicated structures that includes business owners, legal professionals, medical and dental professionals, senior executives, finance professionals, entertainment professionals, athletes and pre- and post-retirees. Joe also has experience working with institutional clients and non-profit corporations.
After graduating from the Smith School of Business of Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) and earning a place on the Dean’s List, Joe’s passion for finance and helping others naturally led him to a career in wealth management. Prior to his current role, for most of his 20's he worked with the advisory teams at two other leading Canadian banking institutions. Before returning to wealth management, he ran his own successful business—juggling 80–100 hour workweeks, all-nighters, and managing a sizable team. He knows firsthand the highs, lows, and caffeine-fueled chaos of entrepreneurship, giving him a unique empathetic perspective when guiding entrepreneurs and business owners through their financial journeys.
Having lived in fifteen cities across seven countries and three continents, he brings a global perspective to his work and client relationships.Outside the office, Joe enjoys giving back to the community in various ways and was a former Rotarian on the Board of Directors with his local club in Markham during his time there. A lifelong learner, he’s a bookworm with a particular weakness for business biographies, business strategy, financial markets, and self-improvement — basically anything that normal people don’t read for fun. He also a dedicated daily Vipassana meditator.
A big fan of Dr. Peter Attia, fitness and the science of longevity, Joe tracks every metric on his WHOOP with nerd-level enthusiasm. He is also a dedicated gym-goer, committed to doing everything he can to get his long term VO2 max up!
