Marc Furlotte, CPA, CA
Investment Advisor
Marc Furlotte, CPA, CA, has extensive experience in working with both institutional and retail investors. He currently works with approximately 150 high net worth families and institutions. His work for these families and organizations has encompassed Investment Policy setting, asset allocation strategies, and individual stock and bond selections.
Marc is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University with over 40 years’ experience in the financial industry, including 20 years with a national accounting firm, and the past 22 years with CIBC Wood Gundy.
Marc’s investment philosophy focuses on preserving investment capital through proper asset allocation, and selection of quality investments with a value bias. Essentially, he looks to acquire shares in companies that have been around for a long period of time, have good balance sheets, and pay dividends. He takes a long-term view and generally holds securities for long periods of times; thereby not missing opportunities by getting in and out of securities on a frequent basis.
