David Higgins is a highly experienced Senior Investment Advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy, where he has dedicated 29 years to helping clients build and protect their wealth. A proud graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a degree in Business Administration, David combines his academic foundation with decades of practical experience to assist clients in achieving their financial goals. 

David lives in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, with his wife, Jodi, of 29 years. Together, they have raised three children—Ben, Jillian, and Lauren. Beyond his professional life, David is deeply rooted in his community. He has been actively involved with the Truro Junior A Bearcats, reflecting his passion for supporting local sports and youth development.

In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his family, staying engaged in the local community, and following his favorite sports teams.

Ryan Beazley is an Investment Advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy and holds several industry designations which include the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), and Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). The FCSI is reserved for individuals who have met the highest standards of ethics, education and experience in the industry.

Ryan’s experience, skills and education have led him to be registered as a Portfolio Manager. He has the knowledge base to recommend and implement advanced investment strategies and conduct analysis of portfolio performance for clients.

When not at work, Ryan volunteers as a board member with Maggie’s place and the Rotary Club of Truro Foundation. He is also a past president of the Rotary Club of Truro and the Truro Golf Club. Recently, Ryan has been volunteering with the Christmas Index, packing gift bags and sorting toys. 

Married with a son and daughter, Ryan likes to play golf, spend time at the cottage and fish in his spare time. He loves traveling with his family and is a proud supporter of the Truro Bearcats.

Amanda has worked with CIBC Wood Gundy for over 12 years. She is responsible for the administrative and client support of the Higgins Beazley Wealth Advisory Group. Amanda is registered with CIRO, having completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook in 2012 and has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Saint Mary’s University. Amanda recognizes the importance of clear, effective communication and trust in building relationships. She believes it is important to get to know clients to understand their financial goals. Amanda resides in Truro with her husband and three children.
