Shawn started in the Canadian Financial Services industry in 1987 as an Investment Advisor and for the past 30 years he has held several executive and senior leadership roles throughout the industry. He is native to London and returned from Toronto 10 years ago with his wife Beverly and their three sons to lead CIBC Wood Gundy in Southwestern Ontario as the Managing Director and District Branch Manager. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Shawn also holds a Securities Industry Association (SIA) Diploma from the prestigious Wharton School of Finance. He is an avid skier, cyclist, enjoys boating and sailing and is very passionate about family. Shawn is also a strong advocate for his local community, has a long list of philanthropic service including being on the boards of St. Joseph’s Hospice of London, Merrymount Family Support and Crisis Centre, and Kings College, to name but a few.

After a career as a Chartered Accountant for a national accounting firm, David joined one of CIBC Wood Gundy's predecessor firms in 1999 as an Investment Advisor. David holds both the Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. He enjoys the excitement and challenges of creating customized investment strategies, which allow clients to achieve their financial goals tax-efficiently. This is what drives David to be a successful, respected and trusted advisor. Born and raised in Leamington, Ontario, David enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and four children.

Wayne joined the Atkinson McConville Financial Group as an Associate in 2008 and has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and previously served as a Chartered Accountant for a highly recognized accounting firm. Calling Windsor his home, Wayne enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, four granddaughters and a grandson.

Shawna is a graduate of the Fanshawe College Business-Finance program and has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has held varying banking positions from Branch Manager to Financial Planner. She joined the Atkinson McConville Financial Group in the summer of 2016 and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, the Fellow of CSI (FCSI®) certification and is also Insurance licensed. She keeps busy with her active family as they enjoy camping, hiking, and all things in nature.

Heather has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and her knowledge of investments, insurance and procedures gives her the leading edge in providing optimum client service. Heather joined the Atkinson McConville Financial Group in the winter of 2012 and is registered for investments and insurance. Although born in New Brunswick, she now calls London her home and enjoys spending time here with her family.

Anabel is a President's Honour Roll graduate of the Fanshawe College Business-Finance program and joined the Atkinson McConville Financial Group in the summer of 2013. She is a registered Qualified Associate Financial Planner™, (QAFP®), having successfully completed the first part of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.  Being a voracious student, she has an interest in a great variety of topics and plans to continue her education to obtain further financial designations.  While keeping very busy with her career, she also enjoys spending time with her family, and loves playing computer games.

Moe Barakat joined the Atkinson McConville team in the winter of 2023. He completed his HBA through Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 2017. Having worked four years in marketing, he decided to return to Ivey and complete his MBA graduating in the spring of 2022. Moe is an avid soccer player, biker and traveler.

Lucy Kim joined the Atkinson McConville team in the spring of 2024 as an Administrative Assistant. She studied biology at Western University and obtained her Master of Science in Digital Management from Ivey School of Business. Beyond work, she finds joy in baking, doing yoga, and spending time with her family.
