His investment career began with CIBC Wood Gundy 25 years ago after graduating from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) in 1996. Dean holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the Vancouver CFA society.
Dean provides investment advice and financial guidance to high-net-worth individuals, families and corporations. He expertly helps them achieve their financial goals by focusing on asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk management, and holistic needs, such as retirement and estate planning.
Dean is known for his integrity, hard work, clear communication, and deep personal relationships with clients. He believes in putting clients' interests first. He invests their money as if it is his own and maintains the highest level of trust and ethical standards for his clients.
Dean believes in giving back. Dean is a Board of Director and President of the Park Place Foundation, a private charitable foundation funded and managed by the partners of the CIBC Wood Gundy Park Place branch. Its goal is to support grassroots charitable efforts for "at-risk" youth and children. In addition, each year through CIBC Miracle Day, Dean supports charities, such as the Saint James Music Academy (Vancouver), The Kids Recreation Fund, and The Yukon Imagination Library in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Dean lives in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver with his wife, Melanie. Together, they share the joy of raising their three children. Dean is a passionate golfer, enjoys skiing and travelling, and is involved in his children's sporting activities.
Both partners of the Boychuk Knoblauch Financial Group balance their office responsibilities with a strong commitment to family life and outreach activities in the broader community. Dean and Tyson are directors of the Park Place Foundation, a charitable organization instrumental in supporting many grassroots initiatives aimed at helping underprivileged youth.

Susan was born in Fiji, grew up in Vancouver and currently lives in Surrey with her husband, Sonny, and their two sons, Devon and Jordan. At home, Susan loves cooking and entertaining friends and family. She has also been working to improve her golf swing.
