Brenda joined the financial services industry in 1995 after working for several years as a paralegal specializing in will and estate administration. In 2010, she re-joined CIBC Wood Gundy after five years as a financial planner at one of the big five banks. Previous to that, Brenda spent most of her investment career with CIBC Wood Gundy and predecessor firms. Brenda is registered with CIRO and is qualified to provide investment advice, financial planning, wealth creation strategies, tax planning, and insurance recommendations. She currently holds her Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations, and is licensed to discuss and implement insurance strategies should this be relevant to your unique situation. She is currently working on her Certified International Wealth Manager designation to gain further knowledge on Retirement, Investment, and Estate Planning strategies including blended families, world wide taxation, and Executive Compensation.
Brenda proactively works with clients to introduce new strategies to improve performance, mitigate risk, save on taxes, and simplify estate planning. Brenda is supported by Courtney Tindale, who is an integral part of her team. Brenda and Courtney have worked together in different capacities in the finance industry over the past 20 years. Together, they share a commitment to know each and every client's unique financial and personal situation and to provide attention and adjustments to those details as life transitions unfold.
Brenda grew up in Clinton, Ontario and attended Fanshawe College in London, which she now calls home. She is an active volunteer with Community Living London, holding numerous positions over the years, and is involved with most of their fundraising activities. She is committed to advocate inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities and also supports the Special Olympics of London organization in various ways. Brenda lives with her partner, Bill, and has two grown daughters Meghan and Abby. Her downtime includes enjoying her large extended family and spending time outside wearing out her two furry kids Agatha and Georgia. An avid traveller who takes every opportunity to explore nature, she enjoys hiking and biking. In the warmer months she likes work outside growing vegetables and tending to her gardens.
Courtney Tindale
Financial Associate
Courtney grew up in London, and holds a degree in Management and Organization Studies with a specialization in Finance and Administration from Huron University College at Western University.
Courtney has worked in the financial services industry since 2005. She joined CIBC Wood Gundy in 2012, and became a member of Brenda's team in 2018. She is a CIRO registrant, having completed the Canadian Securities Course, Conduct and Practices Handbook Course, and the Wealth Management Essentials Course through the Canadian Securities Institute.
In her free time Courtney enjoys horseback riding, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Eunice Grace Arias
Administrative Assistant
Eunice grew up in the Philippines, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Finding her strengths and interests aligned with wealth management, she decided to join the financial services industry. Eunice began her finance career working with a financial planning firm in Australia and completed a Diploma in Financial Planning issued by the International Institute of Technology Melbourne.
In 2022 Eunice moved to Canada and completed the Business Finance program at Fanshawe College. Since graduating she has also completed the Canadian Securities Course and is working toward becoming industry registered.
In her spare time Eunice enjoys learning new things and has many interests. These range from physical activities like volleyball or softball to quieter pastimes such as watching documentaries or reading.
Eunice loves to travel and takes great joy in travelling other countries, but also finding some gems in Southwestern Ontario!
