Beginning his career in 1993 and succeeding to Branch Manager at CIBC Wood Gundy in 2000, Gilbert holds a bachelor’s degree from HEC Montréal, with a specialty in Finance and International Affairs. He is also licenced for options, as well as forwards and futures.

Having Benjamin Graham as a role model, known as one of the greatest investors, economist and entrepreneurs of his time.

When Gilbert isn’t analyzing numbers and market trends, he enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing. The Red Cross Foundation is a humanitarian organization that has an immense significance to him. Enjoying time with family, he loves spending quality time with his nieces and nephews.
