Howard Anderson, FCPA, FCA
Howard began his career in the investment industry in 1987 in Halifax, N.S. and moved to New Glasgow, N.S. in 1993. Prior to entering the business, he earned his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1984 with Touche Ross & Co. and was subsequently awarded his fellow of the CA (FCA) in 2014.
Howard uses his investment insights and experience to look after the investment and estate planning needs of his clients. He tailors his clients portfolios according to their individual needs, risk parameters and tax situations using a combination of individual equities, passive ETFs and actively managed funds.
Howard is very active in his community. He has served on many boards, including Chair of the Highland Community Residential Services, The Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia, Pictou County Chamber of Commerce, and the Weeks Hockey Organization.
Howard has contributed and raised funds for many charities in the community, including the fundraising committee for Pictou County Wellness Centre, William M. Sobey Indoor Soccer Complex, Summer Street Industries, and the Westside Community Center.
Matthew W. Martin, CPA
Matthew works as an Investment Advisor in New Glasgow, NS. He offers a holistic approach - which involves gaining a deep understanding of his clients and their goals, risk tolerance and cash flow requirements. He works to tailor client portfolios according to their individual needs and objectives in a tax efficient manner.
His previous work experience includes seven years working at a public accounting firm in Halifax, NS where he was responsible for monitoring client compliance and advising clients on many different aspects of their business, including financial accounting and tax planning. Matthew obtained his Chartered Professional Accounting designation in 2017.
Matthew has recently settled in the Community where he is an active member of the New Glasgow Kinsmen Club.
