Adam is the lead Portfolio Manager and head of the Intrinsic Financial Group, overseeing nearly $600 million in client assets. He is responsible for managing the team’s discretionary portfolios as well as individual client and corporate accounts. Adam takes great pride in not only building wealth for clients but also in ensuring they have a comprehensive plan in place to enjoy it.

With nearly 20 years of experience in financial markets, Adam combines a deep understanding of personal finance with extensive knowledge of capital and debt financing markets—key assets for our clients.

Adam began his career with CIBC Private Wealth in 2008 and holds the Chartered Investment Manager designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. He also earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in Corporate Finance, from Wilfrid Laurier University.

A firm believer in empowering the next generation, Adam supports children’s charities such as Easter Seals and KidSport SSM. He is also an active contributor to Village Media’s Random Acts of Kindness program and the Sault Area Hospital Foundation. Outside of work, Adam enjoys traveling and spending summer weekends at his cottage with his wife, Marla, and their two children.

Jessica is an Associate Investment Advisor and Relationship Manager with the Intrinsic Financial Group. She specializes in creating personalized financial plans that help clients feel confident about their future. Her approach is centered on understanding what matters most to clients and building clear, practical strategies to support their individual goals.

With over a decade of experience in the financial industry, Jessica joined the Intrinsic Financial Group in 2017. She holds both the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

Jessica is especially passionate about empowering women to take control of their financial futures. She understands the unique challenges women face and is committed to providing personalized guidance to help them feel informed and confident every step of the way. Jessica believes that every woman deserves to feel secure in her financial decisions and is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where they can thrive.

Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Jessica has deep roots in her community and a passion for supporting youth sports. She is a Board Member of KidSport Sault Ste. Marie and has spent many years coaching various girls’ sports, including hockey, soccer, and ringette.

When she’s not at the office, Jessica loves staying active — whether it’s at the Pilates studio, playing hockey or soccer, or kickboxing. She also enjoys unwinding at camp with her husband, embracing the quiet moments away from the hustle of everyday life.

Andrew joined the Intrinsic Financial Group in 2020. His background includes over 5 years as a payroll administrator and accounting assistant for a large local manufacturing company. Prior to this, Andrew completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Ottawa with a Specialization in Finance. He has long term aspirations in wealth management and a passion for the industry. He is responsible for client services, investment research and trading, along with analysis of client portfolios. Andrew’s attention to detail and dedication to providing exceptional service are a major asset to our clients and our team.

Outside the office, he enjoys playing hockey and baseball, traveling, sampling different food and wines, and spending time with his wife, Tiana.

Greg is a veteran in the investment industry and has been with CIBC since the onset of his career spanning over 35 years. His planning, logical thinking skills, and in-depth knowledge of the various market cycles help guide the direction and overall strategy of client portfolios. Greg has extensive experience in the capital market and debt financing side of the advisory business, which is a major asset to our clients. He takes great pride in the performance of each client’s portfolio and is always available to discuss their investment strategy and provide his views on the market. Greg obtained a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Finance and Economics from Lake Superior State University.

In his down time, he enjoys spending time at his cottage with family and friends.

Lily joined the Intrinsic Financial Group in 2022. She comes to the team with 4 years of experience in the financial industry. While working within the industry she has gained a wide variety of skills and knowledge in many different aspects.

Lily has a passion for helping people and will display this through providing exceptional client services and ensuring clients needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. She will be one of the first point of contacts in the office and will complete a range of administrative tasks. Her dedication and loyalty will aid her in making meaningful client connections.

When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her soaking up the outdoors with her husband and their dog, Mabel. She deeply values time with loved ones, and some of her favourite memories are made while sharing laughs and stories with family and friends.

Jacob joined the Intrinsic Financial Group in 2024. He brings to the team two years of prior financial services experience and a Bachelor of Commerce with a Specialization in Finance from the University of Ottawa. He has a genuine excitement and passion for investments and helping others comfortably maximize their financial situation. His responsibilities include client services, investment research and trading, and portfolio analysis. Jacob is dedicated to ensuring a smooth client experience and doing everything he can to help clients achieve financial success.

Away from the office, Jacob enjoys an active lifestyle, spending time at the hockey rink, ski hill, golf course, and the local Goodlife. He also enjoys weekly Sunday lunches with his extended family and cheering on his Montreal Canadiens.

Alexa joined CIBC Wood Gundy in 2024 and brings with her two years of financial services experience and a strong academic background, holding both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration. She has a passion for client service and long-term aspirations in the wealth management industry. In her role, Alexa is dedicated to supporting clients through exceptional service, attention to detail, and a commitment to building strong relationships.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Alexa has spent the past seven years coaching competitive gymnastics at the Sault Ste. Marie Gymnastics Club, where she takes pride in helping young athletes reach their full potential. Born and raised with a strong sense of community, Alexa values spending quality time with family and friends, especially enjoying the relaxation and natural beauty of camp life.
