Jonathan Hearn is an Investment Advisor, Portfolio Manager and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), who has followed in both his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, working with CIBC Wood Gundy since 1996. His father, Peter Hearn a 50-year veteran with Wood Gundy, worked alongside Jonathan for ten years before retiring. Together with his father and grandfather, Jonathan has over 100 years of combined experience and knowledge from three generations of Investment Advisors.

With every new client, Jonathan prepares a detailed wealth management plan to outline how he’ll help accomplish their goals and a service agreement to establish how often they’ll review the progress, to ensure they‘re on track. He then combines his CFA knowledge with independent research and decades of experience from his father and grandfather to individually hand pick stocks for his portfolios. This benefits his clients by saving them money over high industry standard mutual fund management fees and also by giving them direct access to their portfolio manager for questions, or concerns.
