CIBC Miracle Day™ is a proud tradition that has helped to improve the lives of millions of children since it began in 1984. Every year, on the first Wednesday in December, our CIBC Capital Markets team and CIBC Wood Gundy Investment Advisors donate their fees and commissions to help kids in need. Since its inception, CIBC Miracle Day has raised over $266 million for children's charities globally.
We believe in a world without limits to ambition and creating a future where no one has to fear a cancer diagnosis. Cancer is a very important cause to CIBC because it affects so many Canadians, including our team members, clients and loved ones. Through CIBC and the CIBC Foundation, we invest in organizations that deliver cancer research, treatment, screening and diagnosis; and wellness, survivorship and patient support programs. This year marks the 32nd anniversary of the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, and CIBC’s 27th year as title partner. Team CIBC is proud to have been running alongside our fellow Canadians and incredible partners at the Canadian Cancer Society for more than 25 years to support women with breast cancer. Since becoming title sponsor, Team CIBC has raised more than $60 million through pledges, donations and fundraising initiatives across the country.
