I’ve been a wealth advisor for more than 20 years, and I’ve spent most of that time working in ways this industry doesn’t always reward: clear thinking, plain language, and decisions that can actually hold up in real life.
Before I invest a dollar, I require a comprehensive financial plan. Not a generic risk questionnaire. Not a sales conversation. A plan that shows what you own, what you owe, what you’re trying to do, and what it will cost to get there—so investing becomes implementation, not guesswork.
I work in three areas: women navigating divorce or widowhood, business owners and farm families planning succession, and pre-retirees who want a clear picture of what retirement really looks like. I bring a perspective shaped by a community where money was earned, not inherited.
My first job was a paper route at 11—up before dawn, responsible for my own customers, and learning quickly that trust is built by doing what you said you’d do. That’s still how I run my practice: direct conversations, transparent fees, and calls returned.
Outside of work, I’m a mom to a young son and an enthusiastic (if imperfect) home cook. I coordinate the pizza lunch for my son's school and can include the experience of ordering +600 slices of pizza every week on my resume. I read constantly, I’m usually planning our next family adventure, and I believe a good financial plan should make your life feel bigger—not smaller.
