Struan Smith, B.Sc., LLB, TEP
Senior Trust and Estate Consultant
Struan believes that a key component of any wealth management plan is an estate plan; one that protects our clients and their families, their assets, preserves their legacy and ensures that their plans occur as desired. For complex estate and trust issues, he draws on the expertise of CIBC partners, recommends external professionals and acts as an objective third-party to help develop solutions and coordinate communication.
Administering an estate, trust or acting as an attorney for property is time-consuming and requires a knowledge of many different areas. Struan and his team have the expertise to execute or assist others with the execution of those roles effectively and efficiently.
