Québec Education Savings Incentive

The Québec Education Savings Incentive (QESI) is a provincial grant offered by the Québec government that encourages families in Québec to save for the post-secondary education of their children and grandchildren. QESI is paid in the form of a refundable tax credit that is deposited directly into a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP) account opened at a financial institution or other RESP provider that offers the QESI grant.
