CIBC employees play a significant role in making the Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure one of the country’s most successful and respected volunteer-led fundraising events. Our employee volunteers rally colleagues, clients, family and friends to run, walk, fundraise and volunteer to support a cause that’s close to our hearts.

Our office is proud to support the construction of Saskatchewan's first children's hospital. 2018 marked the 16th annual Children's Hospital Radiothon with the Regina CIBC Wood Gundy branch and an impressive $401,870 was raised in just over two short days. Since it began, the Children's Hospital Radiothon has raised over $5.2 million. The hospital is scheduled to open in the fall of 2019.

Every year the CIBC Wood Gundy Regina office kicks off Miracle Day with a special presentation of a holiday themed movie at the IMAX theatre. We invite clients, their kids and grandkids, families from the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan, and other families from our community. We have a Champion Child that speaks to the group about their illness and recovery. It's a great event full of smiles, laughs, and pure enjoyment from everyone involved, especially the kids who normally don't get an opportunity to do something like this. Movember is a charity which has received a lot of attention in the past decade and in that time CIBC has raised over $2.7 million. Movember's focus is on men's health, and more specifically four major areas: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and physical inactivity. For the month of November men and women around the world show their support by growing or wearing fake mustaches to raise awareness. Our office is a proud supporter and we continue to show our support both visually by growing mustaches and by way of financial support through donations.
