My family puts a lot of emphasis in enriching the community we live in. We deeply care about our relationships and responsibility to help others with a sense of humility and this comes to us naturally, and that's who we are. Our engagements include:
CIBC and Wood Gundy employees have had a profound impact in the local community through the continued support a large number of organizations in our local area of Edmonton, including The Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and numerous other charitable organizations both locally and nationally.
Wood Gundy is also a proud supporter of CIBC Miracle Day, an employee-driven fundraiser that started at a Wood Gundy branch in 1984. Since its inception, funds raised on CIBC Miracle Day have benefited children in communities across the country, through the support of a variety of initiatives, including breakfast programs that provide a healthy start to the school day and recreational programs that build a child's confidence and self-esteem.
