He holds the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation, as well as a Level 2 Insurance license. Robert is a designated Portfolio Manager allowing him to undertake discretionary trading on behalf of his clients. Prior to joining CIBC Wood Gundy, Robert was one of the founding developers of ABELDent Inc. practice management software, from ABELSoft Inc., the leading provider of computer systems for dentists in Canada. With this experience, he gained an intimate understanding of starting and growing a business in Canada as well as the business of dentistry. Robert has a passion for music, cycling and cars. He has performed with everything from small jazz combos to the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra.
