Sell Smart - Strategies for a Smooth and Profitable Business Exit
May 20, 2025 05:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time - May 20, 2025 08:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time
Event Overview:
Some entrepreneurs found businesses with a clear goal of a quick exit, others want to own/run the business until retirement. Regardless of the path you choose, the fact is that if you are successful, your business is likely to have economic value to a purchaser one day. Why not try to maximize that value?
I am happy to invite you to our upcoming evening focusing on all things exit planning. This will be a network & learn event covering three stages of an entrepreneur’s journey:
-
Startup to pre-exit phase: Steps a founder should take to ensure they and their business are structured early for a tax-efficient exit. How should my share ownership be structured? Where should I hold passive business assets?
-
Exit phase: A discussion on what actually happens when you make the decision you sell your company. What is considered in business valuation? What will your legal representative do for you during this stage?
-
Post-exit phase: You have finally turned your non-liquid business shares into liquid cash. What now?
Who should attend: Founders/entrepreneurs interested in learning how to structure their business for maximal future exit value.
