Our team, the Fraser Wilson Financial Group, has been in business for well over 20 years. We manage money for individuals, foundations, charities. Our clients include business owners, farmers, doctors, lawyers and regular retirees. What we do for our clients is more than just manage their investments, the full wealth management proposal where we take care of the investments first and foremost. But then we help with estate planning, transitioning funds to the next generation, minimizing taxation and generally making our clients feel comfortable.
I've got three people immediately on my team. Jay's been with me for well over 10 years. He does all of our performance reporting and is doing financial plans for our clients now. Christina, does all of our administration. She does re-balancing of portfolios. Victoria is the newest member of our team and she's taking over more of the administrative roles. We always have somebody here to answer the phones. One of the things we pride ourselves on is getting back to clients immediately, whether they email us or phone us.
Our teams process starts with the client. So we do lots of face to face meetings with our clients, at least two or three per client every year. So we talk about the investments first and how they're doing. We look at their investments from the first day that they started with us until today and we show them how much money they put in and what it's worth now. So they know exactly how much money they've made. We show them their asset allocation versus their target. We show them their geographic diversification. And that's all of their accounts combined. So they know right off the bat that they're making money, that they're well-balanced and well diversified.
You have to have a long term plan because in the next six months to a year, I can't really tell you what's going to happen, but it's very likely that we can get the right outcome in five and 10 years. So have a long term plan and stick to it and you will accomplish it.
I think the clients like the confidence that we have, the performance that we generate and at the end of the day, they feel comfortable, they feel safe and they know what they're going to get. Especially the clients that have been with me for 10, 15, 20 years. We only deal in high quality investments so when markets go down, they know they're going to come back up and nobody panics.
The industry is always changing. We have interest rates at 30 year lows. We have stock market at all time highs. We stay up to date on all of these things that we know how to build a portfolio, to navigate into the future and get the clients to achieve their goals. We let our clients know that they don't have to be the experts were the experts. We use the CIBC team so we get the best of all of the things that CIBC has to offer. So whatever the issue is that comes to us, we've got the right partners at the bank to take care of it, whether it's tax, retail banking, a mortgage, life insurance, executors. We know all the right people to talk to.
I've always been a numbers guy, so I enjoyed the investment part of it. But I also like seeing the reaction on my clients face when we accomplish something. It's great sense of satisfaction to know that you're making a difference for people.
