The Common Table is a grassroots community initiative run out of the Church of the Redeemer, dedicated to supporting vulnerable individuals in our neighbourhood. Open Monday to Friday, the program offers healthy meals, essential supplies, basic health care, housing referrals, and a range of social and wellness activities. With both indoor and outdoor services—including outreach carts that connect directly with those in need—The Common Table serves over 100 people each day, providing not just necessities, but a welcoming space for connection, support, and belonging. The program relies on the generosity of volunteers, donors, and community partners like the Yorkville Branch to make a positive impact in the lives of those it serves.
