Women's Thought Leadership

I am an ALL-in person.

This starts with my family and wonderful husband, Tom, who is my best friend and partner in business and in life. We have the privilege of raising two sons who are now confident adults.

I am ALL-in with our Applegath Group clients, designing life solutions for them not just in wealth management but becoming a trusted part of their families.Their confidence in us as a team is the hallmark of our reputation and growth over these last thirty years.

I'm ALL-in with  my commitment to women; both to the leaders outside my field and those working in the wealth management business. I am passionate about building opportunities and connections, especially giving young women the assurance that they can create and define their own paths - personally and professionally.

And I am ALL-in in my own journey. Forever learning and exploring the world with awe and gratitude. I'm excited to be on this journey and making my mark.

MY BELIEFS

I believe women who make a difference:

1. Are willing to challenge the status quo.

2. Apply their personal values across the whole spectrum of their life.

3. Fully trust themselves so are free to lift others up.

4. Have the courage to act as they are not afraid to stir big 'waves.'

5. Open new opportunities for other women.

6. Delight in moving the bar higher by asking, "why not?"

7. Live openly from heart space willing to express honest emotion.

8. Have both wisdom and knowledge...and know the difference.

9. Consciously strive to live in alignment.

10. Are loyal, determined and resilient.

Women's thought leadership is a place for like-minded women to meet, allowing energy to spark action that will only expland.

As each evening brings fresh infusions for bold thinking, it creates opportunities.

We will always ask:

1. Where are your passions taking you?

2 How are you moving the dial in your community?

3. How can we help one another?

Lisa Bragg

We've long been told, "put your head down, do good work, and eventually someone will notice you." But that limiting and diminishing advice doesn't hold up in the noise and pace of these transformative times. The reality is, no one cares about your future the way you do. If you want to achieve remarkable results, it's up to you to talk about your successes and accomplishments.

We welcomed Lisa Bragg to discuss her book Bragging Rights, which showed us how to talk about yourself using purposeful self-promotion.

Dr. Vivien Brown and Dr. Stacy Irvine

In our first inaugural event, since the pandemic, we surveyed our group and asked them what was most important in their lives. The top three answers that came back were: ‘health and wellness, travel, and finance’. It was not a surprise to see health and wellness coming out front-and-center. If the last few years have taught us anything, it’s how important, taking care of ourselves is. Even with the best of intentions, we don’t always have the information and resources to do that in the best way possible.

We were thrilled to welcome two well-renowned doctors, Dr. Vivien Brown, and Dr. Stacy Irvine.

"If you see one, you can be one!" This important new book for businesswomen looks at the ten key characteristics of today's winning leaders. These characteristics - like compassion, honesty, and authenticity - were once seen as feminine weaknesses in business. But today, they define the leader who strengthens organizations rather than undermines them.
