Pete 

This is a quieter summer for us as we get ready for an empty nest as our daughter Gwyn is heading off to university at the end of August.   Apart from planning a few visits to Montreal this fall, and thoroughly enjoying the World Cup drama, we’ve been out on our bikes both here in Toronto and at our place in the country near Singhampton.  The news has been a bit ... heavy ... so far this year, so I’m reading something light and funny: P.G. Wodehouse’s “The Code of the Woosters,” which I can only describe as Downton Abbey if written as a comedy.   

Calvin 

After a decade together, Renee and I are finally tying the knot in August. Ater countless hours planning, I’m looking forward to celebrating this moment with friends and family back home in Kingston. We are excited to explore Thailand and Vietnam in the fall. If you have any recommendations please reach out!  

John

Summer is the best of all seasons in Ontario. There is no "bad place " to be. Toronto is less busy so you can move around easily ( finally ) to explore all parts of the city. With family, I mix city life with lake country life, while being active in tennis, golf and swimming. No trave elsewhere in July and August! For those of us who remember, Ontario is " A place to stand and a place to grow"!!

Marc 

If there is a festival or party anywhere in the city this summer, you will find me there. If I am not out, I am either at the beach or in the backyard jamming out to some Soca music and smoking a cigar.    

Thomas 

This summer, I’ve been enjoying the beautiful weather by spending more time outside. I’ve been meeting friends for weekly sports, barbeques, and drinks, while also making time for quieter moments in my backyard, listening to audiobooks, and taking care of my plants. Looking ahead, I’m excited for cottage trips with friends, getting back into golf, and spending time off in Toronto with my girlfriend. Amidst all these plans, I also hope to make more time for painting and personal projects. 

 

Claire 

This summer, I’ve enjoyed the nice weather with trips to Toronto Island, sailing and swimming. I also attended a couple of weddings and traveled to New York City. It’s been great to catch up with friends and exploring new places. I’m looking forward to heading up north to the cottage with my family and dog for some more relaxing days! 

Oliver 

This summer, in addition to working with our outstanding team at Greenwood White, I’ve been spending time gardening, visiting family in Quebec, barbequing, and enjoying time with my dog. Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing summer. 

Hannah  

This summer has been off to a great start. Between my internship with the team and being back home before starting my third year at Queen’s this fall, I’ve really enjoyed spending extra time with my family, friends, and dogs, especially with the beautiful weather we’ve had. Heading up north to the cottage to relax by the lake has definitely been a highlight. I’m looking forward to a few trips planned in the coming weeks and wish everyone a wonderful summer! 

Evan 

A good portion of my summer has been spent working alongside the Greenwood White Team, where I’ve had the opportunity to learn, grow, and gain valuable experience every day. Outside of work, I’ve been enjoying weekends at my family cottage, playing in a summer roller hockey league, and making the most of the season with family and friends through bonfires and summer gatherings.
